Ph.D. Stipends
If you are receiving a stipend from the College of Graduate Studies, your first stipend check will be available around the third week of September. If you are taking the summer course, a partial month check will be available at the end of July. Checks can be picked up in the Dean's Office in the Basic Science Building Room 102. Please provide updated address information as soon as possilbe to the College of Graduate Studies Dean 's office or Enrollment Services, as this information is critical for processing your first check. For October and following, your stipend check will be available for pick up on the last working day of the month. If you are receiving support from a department or faculty member please discuss with them when you will receive your first check. Direct deposit is available and highly encouraged to prevent delays in check receipt. Forms will be provided in your orientation packets.
